How can I send a message to a group of emails (about 50) in a text file?

If you are using the same version of Word as you are of Outlook, you can do
a mail merge with the text file as the data source. See
http://www.slipstick.com/contacts/startletter.htm for more info.

So the answer is rather, NO. I can't do something as simple as
specifying a plain .txt with addresses in ach line as the recipients
of an eamil, with Outlook.

(I am not talking about any kind of merge and of course I don not want
Word).

¿¿Will I be able to do this simple task with Eudora?? Is it possible
that none of the MS developers has come up with this simple feature?

Totally irrelevent, but OpenVMS from HP (not a PC-based operating system)
and Unix have been able to do this for years and years.

The answer is Yes with a little coding. Outlook is a very extensible
environment. Rather than trying to put everything in there that
anyone could possibly want, and most people would not want, they made
the application programmable. With a couple million people in the
world qualified to code with this environment, it's not difficult to
get one of them to write a special purpose function. I offer my
services to write specialty code like this.
