how can i send a document in microsoft word in an email cheers

i have a document i am trying to send from microsoft word to a email
recipient but it sends it but doesnt arrive in email inbox sent it to my self
to check if it work but it didnt
please help me
 
Are you sending it like
File>Send To>Mail Recipient(as attachment)??
