How can I save a Note on to my desktop?

I would like to use Notes like little electronic post-its and have a few
posted on my Desktop for reminders. How do I get the Notes from Outlook to
save to my desktop?

You can drag and drop them to the desktop but they aren't really going to
look like Post-Its.

You might be happier with this:
