I need to be able to share a database with an overseas client, is it possible
to upload an access database to a password protected page on the company
website and have both of us be able to add/edit daily and save?

Not an Access .mdb file, at least not that way. Access doesn't "play nice"
over the Internet - it's MUCH too demanding of fast, stable, noise-free
connectivity.

You should consider using some sort of remote-terminal connection so that the
database and the instance of msaccess.exe that you're using are on the same
computer (or at least the same fast, stable LAN).

Alternatively, you can Replicate the database. This is a complex task with
quite a few minefields, so study up on it carefully before you tackle the
task!

We use a small server were I stored Access and the applications (data is
linked to a second server). Sales persons use Remote Desktop connexion
(start->Programs->accessories) to connect using the internet address of SRV3.

That's certainly one way. Two of my clients use Citrix Server in the same way.
