I have to format and reinstall XP and other programs in my Aunt's computer
and she has an address list saved in Access and I haven't worked with that
program. How can I save that list and put it back where it was after I
reinstall the OS? Tahnks......

An Access database is stored in a .MDB file. You need to find that file,
take note of the location, save it, and resotre it to the same location
afterwards.

The Access database will be in a file with a .MDB (or possibly .MDE)
extension. That file contains the entire application; you can put it wherever
your aunt expects it, and/or put it in some suitable folder and put a shortcut
on the desktop to launch it.

So long as Office Pro (a compatible, i.e. concurrent or later version) is
installed, nothing more should be needed.
