How Can i Run Dos progrem like TASM on me winxp home?

I'm a sutdent and i try to run the DOS progrem TASM.exe on my pc.
On me Pc i use Window XP Home Edition.

What i need todo so i can run this DOS progrem on my Pc?

running some old softwares
can be done by right clicking
on the icon for the executialbe and
selecting "compatiability mode" suitable
for that program.

however, is tasm.exe worth the trouble?
There is likely to be a new and improved version
if you look around..
