How can I repair/recover contacts in a broken pst file?

I have a pst file that stopped working because it exceeded the 2gig limit for
file size. I ran the tool the truncates the file size and then ran the
mailbox repair tool. I can now open the pst file. Even though everything is
no longer in the correct folders, I can see most of the messages and
contacts.

My issues is that the recovered contacts are missing the email addresses and
possibly some other information.

Is there some way for me to recover my contacts with the proper information?
Those were the most important items in the file.

Yes... Restore from backup. (this requires of course that you did backup
your email now and then)

The 'clipped' information is lost.

Thanks, but that is actually not my computer and the person I am trying to
help was not that smart... Any other advice. Is there a way to select which
info is lost. as opposed to losing the contacts?
