how can i rename an inbox folder, if i have 2 of them

I have an active Inbox as well as a second inactive one (as a result of
downloading a previous outlook when I got a new computer). When I backed up
outlook last week my new e-mails started going to the defunct Inbox instead
of the current one and it won't allow me to change the name of it--so how do
I re-direct my new e-mails back to the correct Inbox . I have Outlook 2003.
 
Make sure the data file you want messages to be sent to by default is
configured to be the "default". You check that via Tools - Options - Mail
Setup - data Files.
