How can I remove items from Add/Remove Programs?

There are certain spyware items that reside in the
Add/Remove programs list that will not remove at all. Any
suggestions as to how to remove these items? Thanks in
advance for your help.

I am assuming that not only do they exist in the
ADD/REMOVE but also installed on your system if yes then
download sypware trial version from webroot.com and run it.

Start/Run/REGEDIT

Navigate to this key:

HK_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall

For most software installation there will be an entry, and a
corresponding key called "DisplayName". You can blow away things from
there. If you're not comfortable playing in the registry, you better
not!
