How can I recover deleted mail?

I have just accidentally deleted one of my mail folders and am worried that
it may be a mistake that I cannot rectify. Is there any way of restoring the
folder?

Hi, Janey -

When you post in here, always include your version, SP level, and mode (if
applicable) of Outlook - you can find this information in Help | About. Also
include the type of mail account(s) you use and any other pertinent details.
Be sure to put a consise summary of your question in the subject line, and
the full details in the body of your post.

That said - if you aren't on an Exchange server configured for deleted item
retention/if you use a PST file for mail delivery, and don't have a backup,
your data is probably gone. This may or may not work...

Have you emptied the deleted items folder? Have you shut down Outlook? If
no to the first, then recover it from that folder, If no to the second,
