How can I put a pull down menu on an excel spreadsheet?

I am trying to insert a pull down menu on a cell in excel, the idea is to
have numerous phrases in this menu, that will allow me to select one of them
rather than cut paste or typing it out.
 
List them somewhere in the sheet, select the cells you want to have this on, do
Data / Validation / Choose list and then go select the list of phrases.

Another option is to use Tools / Autocorrect and set up the phrases with
shortcuts.
