How can I protect a paragraph to prevent others from revising it?

My workmates an i work with the same word file, however we work with
different part of the file, I hope that the part completed by me won't be
revised by other people, I try to protect the paragraph so that others cannot
edit it, but I have no idea about this, someone could help me? Thanks!!

Thank you for your help, but my application version is 9.0 and protect
section function is not available in my word software, how could i do next?
Is there a add-in component that could be downloaded from somewhere?
