how can i print multiple slides per sheet without changing size

I'm trying to print 3 1/2 by 5 inch slides onto paper. when i select to
print one slide on my settings page, the print will come out exactly as
planned - 3.5" by 5". This will waste paper if i were to do it this way for
all of my pics.

My page setup is at 3.5" by 5".

Is there a way to print multiple (2 slides per sheet) without changing the
size of the prints?

I've tried a couple of ways, but to no luck.

You might try saving your presentation as a series of PNG files (File, Save As,
Save As Type: PNG)

Then insert each PNG into Word and size it to spec, then print the Word doc.
