I have 1 "landbased" computer and 1 laptop. I use a router for networking.
How can I open Outlook from "Landbased" on laptop or vise-versa? Or can I
share files in Outlook? I know with share point I can but don't have that
setup or server capacity. I can share files but have not been able to share
Outlook. Any thoughts?

MS doesnt support the use of the outlook data file (*.pst) over a network as
it can cause corruption

You would need Outlook installed on both PC's then there are methods of
syncing

If you use an IMAP account, all mail remains on the server, and can thus
be shared by different computers/locations.
