How can I open my email attachments in outlook?

I can view my attachments but I am unable to open them such as
Pottery Barn, Expedia, Better Homes and Gardens, Ebay....
I have Outlook 2000, Internet only - SP3.

Go to Tools, Options, then select the Security tab.... click on the button
for download pictures "change automatic download settings" there are several
options there, make some changes and test it out.
