How can i open links in new windows from my links bar?

Hi, i want to know how can i open links from my links bar
in new windows automatically, i already unchecked an
option in the advanced options section which says to
initiate links in same window or something like that but
it doesnt work, i dont know what happens because i used
to be able to open links in new windows and now i cant.
