when i write in spanish word recognize the language but wont do any
corrections. I have a french version and it correct all right texts in french
It's important to tell us which version of Word you're using (97, 2000, 2002, or
2003).
Each language version of Word contains proofing tools for a few, "relevant"
languages. The English version for French and Spanish; the German version for
English, French and Italian, for example.
As I've never installed a French version of Word, I don't know which languages
come with it. You can find out by running Setup again (from the Control panel)
and drill down into the "Office" shared tools in the Customize dialog box. Under
Proofing Tools you'll see what languages (if any) besides French and English are
part of your Office package.
If Spanish is not included, then you'll need to purchase the entire Office
Proofing tools for your version of Office (2000, XP or 2003). Or you'll need to
find a third-party tool/Add-in.
