How can I make Outlook run in a wireless network that requires a .

Hi there,

I am a user of Outlook at my University.

Recently the University installed a wireless network and a Transport Layer
Security protocol (TLS) is used by the mailserver to allow client/server
applications (such as an email clients) to communicate over the Internet
without eavesdropping, tampering, or message forgery.

This TLS/SSL is a mandatory setting on the mailserver and because of that I
cannot use Outlook with the wireless network.

Can anyone tell me where can I get a TSL/SSL plugin for outlook? or how to
activate it?

As far as I know the settings for the mailserver are:
1) Method: Plain text
2) Secure: STARTTLS TLSv1

Many thanks in advance.

While Outlook can handle SSL, it can't do TLS yet and I haven't seen an
add-in.
