how can i make a rescue disk

Can anyone tell me how i can make a rescue disk for xp. i
know it prompts you when installing for the first time
but is there any way to make one when you are already up
and running ?

Hi Wayne,
To create a MS-DOS startup disk
The MS-DOS startup disk you create will allow you to boot into MS-DOS.

1.. Insert a floppy disk into your computer's floppy drive.
2.. Open My Computer, and then click the floppy disk drive to select it.
3.. On the File menu, point to the name of the floppy drive, and then
click Format.
4.. Under Format options, click Create an MS-DOS startup disk.
5.. Click Start.
Important

a.. Creating an MS-DOS startup disk erases all information on the floppy
disk.
Notes

a.. To open My Computer, click Start, and then click My Computer.
b.. The MS-DOS startup disk only allows the system to boot into an MS-DOS
prompt. The disk contains no additional tools.

To create a password reset disk

The Forgotten Password Wizard helps you create a password reset disk that you can use to
recover your user account and personalized computer settings if you forget your password.

If you have a computer administrator account

1.. Open User Accounts in Control Panel.
2.. Click your user name.
3.. Under Related Tasks located on the left side of the window, click Prevent a
forgotten password.
4.. In the Forgotten Password Wizard, follow the instructions as they appear on the
screen.
If you have a limited account

1.. Open User Accounts in Control Panel.
2.. Under Related Tasks located on the left side of the window, click Prevent a
forgotten password.
3.. In the Forgotten Password Wizard, follow the instructions as they appear on the
screen.
Notes

To open User Accounts, click Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel, and then
double-click User Accounts.
