I would like to be the only one able to make any changes in my Access
Database. How do I go about making it read only to all users but myself?

I seem to recall earlier versions have a two password system that would
do just that, but it appears not to be in the XP version. It seems you will
need to go to User Level Security.

I suggest you start by reading

Access security is a great feature, but it is, by nature a complex product
with a very steep learning curve. Properly used it offers very safe
versatile protection and control. However a simple mistake can lock
everyone including God out.

Practice on some copies to make sure you know what you are doing.
