In the context of developing an explanation on how to access a web site, I
would like to provide the web address and hyperlink the web address so that
the reader could connect directly without having to enter the web address in
their browser. How do I do that?

When you paste a URL into the Word document, usually Word will automatically
add the hyperlink. If it does not, select the entire URL, right mouse click,
Hyperlink, the dialog box should now have the url in the Address box, OK.
Hope this helps

First copy the URL you want to use. Then select the text you want to display
and choose Insert | Hyperlink (or press Ctrl+K). Paste the URL into the
Address box in the Insert Hyperlink dialog.
