How can I keep the default font wanted when printing envelopes?

My program keeps going back to a different font as the default, even though I
change it & click the default button. I am using Word 2000

The fonts used for envelopes are defined by the Envelope Address and
Envelope Return paragraph styles. Use Format | Style to access and modify
these styles.
