How can I keep my font from changing with various browser setting.

I see lots of web pages with "fixed fonts." No mater how I adjust my Text
Size in my browser, they do not change size. My web site, on the other
hand....always changes. I have problems with this when the amount of space is
limited...

How can I keep text from changing sizes with various browser settings?

If your fonts are sized in pixels or points, then IE4+ (and ONLY IE4+) will
not be able to resize them (without taking some extra steps). Every other
browser on the planet will be able to.

If you enable the accessability options in IE, then you will be able to
resize them willy-nilly.

So - the bottom line is this - you cannot fix the fonts as long as you allow
the styled text to remain as TEXT. Only if you change it to a graphic (a
very poor choice), will you then not be able to resize it.

The short answer is you can't nor should you be able to. There are those with various disabilities that need to be able to change
fonts so that they can view web pages.

Actually, it is a necessity. The owner of the web site has created a very
small area for certain things...and if expanded, they cannot be read
either....

Hi,

I had the same problem as you do. Actually I was able to fix it with the
following directions;

On view menu, click design, than highlight the text ares with your mouse,
right click with the mouse, select font and click again.
Where you see the size it migth be (10pt) delete that and write 12px
than click apply than ok. save it, than try to view. I'm sure it will help.
Please let me know the result.

I had the same problem as you do.
Now you have time to work on your next problem....
