How can I get the word count of a powerpoint presentation?

I have tried to put it into a word document, but it only counts the words
from notes, and not from the slides themselves.
 
Hi,
Click INSERT
OBJECT
Choose CREATE FROM FILE
Click BROWSE
Choose the document
Click OK and on "Insert object" OK again.
