How can I get rid of Send on Behalf of?
I have a user who is the owner of the mailbox but when he
sends out email the from line looks like:
John Doe ([email protected]) Sent of Behalf of John Doe.

We are using Outlook 2000 on the workstations and
Exchange 2000 Server.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks

Open the user/mailbox item in AD Users an Computers. You can set the
permission on the Security tab.

What do I change on the Security tab?
Under the user's security tab it appears to have the
correct settings. There is a check mark next to "Send As"
for "Self".
He's trying to send email on his own behalf from his
mailbox and not for anyone else, so that should not
appear.

And he doesn't use the From line either? See if he haven't set himself as a
delegate of his own mailbox
