How can I get my "Search" to work with my new theme.

I have a (paid for) FP theme website and would like to get the search
button in the theme to work and stay as cosmetically close to the theme
as possible. Is there something free out there that will do this? TIA

It is just a plain form field, labeled Search, and will not work with the FP Search Component.
