How can I get my home country code to display in Contacts

I would like to force Outlook to show the country code for my home country in
the Contact. Right now it shows it for countries outside my home country,
but not for contacts in my country. This is a problem when I synchronize
Outlook to my mobile phone. In other words, instead of showing +33 1 12 12
12 12, if the contact is in my home country Outlook currently shows it as 1
12 12 12 12. After synchronisation, my phone tries to dial 1 12 12 12 12,
which doesn't work. (You either dial +33 1 12 12 12 12 or 01 12 12 12 12).

You can select that option in Outlook's dialing options.
Contacts > Actions > Call Contact > New call...
