How can I get an mpeg file to play automaticaly

Whenever i try to play my video it wont play I need it to play automaticly
without any mouse clikcking etc.. I have windows media player quicktime and
realplayer maybe more but not sure

Does it play when you click on the video frame? If not, it could be that your
settings have been modified by Real Player. See
http://www.soniacoleman.com/Tutorials/PowerPoint/multimedia.htm. Read section 3
and check your MCI settings that it describes.

If the video does play when clicked, then you can do a couple of things. When
you insert the video, you are asked whether you want it to play automatically.
Respond "Yes". For a video that is already inserted, go to Custom Animation and
set the video to play "after previous". If you had told us which version of
PowerPoint you are using I could have told you the exact steps for modifying the
Custom Animation settings.
