How Can I get a sub name in my site

lets say my site is called with

www.mysite.com

id like to have people accessing different parts of my website by typing
this

www.mysite.com\part1
www.mysite.com\part2

this wont work. I need to add .htm at the end

how can u do it without the .htm at the end?

ok found it.
just have default.htm in a each part folder and have a link in there
