How can I Force Logoff

I have an application that several people sign on to each with ifferent
logons and security levels. The issue is people walk away from the terminal
with it still logged on.

Can anyone direct me to some code snippet or logic process whereby I can
detect 5-10 minutes of inactivity and forced the application to exit? I
know who to exit the application but how do I detect inactivity?
