How can I "find" the music that is imbedded in a PowerPoint?

I received a ".pps" presentation that I saved and opened with PowerPoint 2003
- I'm using WinXP. The presentation has an imbedded music file (assumed to
be WAV), that I would like to use in another presentation. How can I locate
the sound file so it can be re-used?

Save the presentation as a HTML file and any embedded wave files will be extracted and put into a folder_files with the same name as your saved presentation

Hi Mike,
In OE change your sending setting to Plain text:
Follow this: Tools > Options > Send tab > tick Plain text > Apply > OK

Click to select your eMail message containing that .pps show (don't open it), click Forward menu and Viola! ---find all attachment
just below Subject line.

Open your prepare folder to save these attachments in another windows. High-lighted all or choose the music file which you require
and drag & dropped it to your ready folder placed just beside it. Copy & Paste is another method.

Remember to revert your Send setting choice back to your original .... tick Rich Text > Apply > OK.

HTH,
Rino

P.S... OE is Outlook Express

I'm afraid this does not work. When you forward, you just forward the already attachment. If the sound file was embedded into your email message, then your procedure would work.
