How can I fill in a form I scanned into a word document?

I am doing a grant application with many forms to fill out. I would like to
scan them into word and fill them out on the computer as it would look more
professional. How do I do this? Any help is very much appreciated.

Hi =?Utf-8?B?Q3J1bmNo?=,

You'll find lots of information on how to create forms at www.mousetrax.com and
word.mvps.org

Basically, you'd scan in the form as a graphic. Insert that as a picture in the
header/footer layer. Place the form fields over it. (Then, possibly, delete the
picture and just print to the pre-printed forms.)

Word is not good for this. You'll spend a _lot_ of time.

Consider using special software. A form filler program comes with the
PaperPoint software that comes with my scanner.
