Help, using frontpage 2000. Want to be able to open up some of the
pages in word, edit it, and save the changes. Every time I open up the
webpage in word it opens as read only.

That's probably not the best approach because of all the extra code that is
generated. Use FrontPage and style sheets for this. The results will be much
better.

Why do you want to do that? Word generates a lot of rubbish code that makes
your page take longer to load. You are always best to copy any content from
word and put it in notepad then paste to FrontPage. This is for already made
content. If your making new content just type away in FrontPage and do your
formatting there or with css if you know css.

Unless there is some other reason for using word .... you have to think of
FrontPage as a web editor that will do the full job ... you don't need word.
