how can i delete a workgroup?

There is network workgroup called "workgroup" that i want
to delete. my home network is called home and thats the
only one i want.

Hello!
Open My Network Places > Network Tasks: View workgroup
computers > Other Places: Microsoft Windows Network.

If you see WORKGROUPS and HOME listed, then all of your
computers are not set up to use the same workgroup.

In XP, you can change your workgroup name by hitting the
Windows key + Pause/Break > Computer Name tab > Change... >
Member of.

Having different workgroup names shouldn't prevent you from
browsing the network, but having them all the same would
alleviate any confusion.
