How can i deleat a validation rule so I can put a command button

I am preparing for a uni assessment on line and i am unable to deleat a
validation rule to completa my training before next week

what's preventing you from deleting the rule? what error do you get?

Open the object (table? form? you don't say) in design view, select the field
or control, and delete the validation rule.

As I am a pensioner and disabled I am having trouble finishing the exercises
as I have never come across this before. The exercise actually asks us to
create a command button in the form without the validation rule and this is
whats causing me the problem.
Thank you once again for your responce I have deleated the validation rule
