Hi,

you can use FDISK to create the partitions. There are
several third party utilities such as partition magic to
do this task.

Start by turning off the caps lock.

Start, Settings, Administrative Tools, Computer Management, click on Disk
Management.
You can't be a limited user to work with your disks.
Your hard drive(s) must have unallocated space or more than one partition.
If only one partition and no unallocated space, then you need a third party
program.
If unallocated space, right click, Create partition.
If another partition, move any data to another partition, delete the
partition, create two partitions.........

Read up about partitions at
http://aumha.org/win4/a/parts.htm

so you know what you are about. If your system is currently only using
part of the physical drive you can make a second partition using XP Disk
Management. If there is no unused space you will need a third party
partition manager - Partition Magic ver 8 or BootIT NG, from
http://www.BootitNG.com ($35 shareware - 30 day full functional trial)
