How can I create a form with fill-in spots that don't move the fo.

I need to create a form that will reside on my computer and has lines for
filling in. When I try to do this and type in the data on the lines it moves
the line and the rest of the printing on the form. I want to be able to
write on the form without altering it permanently or having to delete spaces
in order to have things line up properly. It makes no difference if I hit
the protect lock.

Hi Sue,

The general idea is to use a table with fixed column widths and row heights.
