How can I create a banner with Power Point?

I am using power point to prepare a professional conference poster. It is a
poster that presents my psychological research and will be tacked up to a 4'
X 6' bulletin board. Does anyone know how I can create a banner that spans
the six feet using power point? I have used Publisher in the past, but then
the design on the title will be different from the design on the rest of the
power point pages.
