How can I convert an email meessage file to a message in outlook

Whle trying to move my messages from deleted to another folder I was asked if
I want to create a new item. I responded by yes. ALl my messages became an
attachment to an email message instead of being moved as messages the
intended folder. I want to retrieve those messages, which were saved as files
in outlook message format and file them under another folder in outlook.

You now have a folder full of .msg files?

You should be able to drag and drop those into an Outlook folder of type
Mail Items to import them.

No, I think you have one email with many attachments. Every attachment
is an email itself. Just open that email, drag and drop the attachments
to the right folder in Outlook.
