HOW CAN I CHANGE MY FOLDER FROM THE 'READ ONLY' FORMAT?

I have a presentation comming up but i can't seem to save my folder on my usb
drive because it says that it is set in a 'read only' fomat and well I need
this powerpiont asap! can some one help me?
