how can i change height of text box to fit stretched detail?

I have a detail section with several text boxes in it. The border of each
one is visible so as to create a grid like effect. I'm used to a bit more
sophisticated reporting tool where if I set a text box to grow, I can set
the other ones to stretch to fit the resultant height of the detail area.
There's no settting for this in A2003 so I'm not sure how to do this. Any
suggestions?

Thanks,

Keith

That only affects the text box that has to grow. It doesn't automatically
stretch other text boxes in the same band to match the height of the band if
they don't need to grow themselves. I need them all to grow to the stretched
height of the band when one of the other text boxes grows.

Set the Top of all to the same position that you want to see at the same
elevation.
Then make sure that all below them are below all have top below the lowest
bottom.

Thanks Karl but you're not following me. No big deal. I'm scrapping the
Access output and generating it as an Excel file.

Karl did try to help you with what he understood your problem to be.
Often times it's the wording of the question that causes
miss-understanding.
Since you are used to a more sophisticated reporting program, I won't
bother to post a simple method to do what you asked to do.

Good bye Keith. Don't let the door hit you on the way out.

You should probably MYOB fred. I didn't say anything that should have
offended Karl. He wasn't following me. I didn't imply that it was his fault.
Just stated a fact. No big deal. My client decided they watned an Excel file
instead so the issue became moot. If that hadn't been the case I would have
instead reclarified the question. I appologize to Karl if he misunderstood
me (and did already thank him for trying BTW). Hope the door hits you firmly
on the way out fred.
