How can I center text on a picture in a cell in Front Page?

I am trying to center text on a picture in FP 2003.
I have set the wrapping style to left, but I want the text centered on the
picture in the cell.
I've tried every form and nothing seems to do the trick?
Any ideas, anyone?

Use an image editor and put it on the image itself.

Right click on the cell and choose cell properties. Click on Style then
format then borders. Choose the shading tab and click on browse. Choose the
picture and it will become the backgorund picture. Now choose the horizontal
and vertical alignment.
