How can I boot windows from USB drive?

Are there any settings to tweak so that the PC will boot usb first instead of
cd rom or HDD?

I had found that the BIOS didn't have this option.

I am currently using an ACER notebook, centrino 1.73 Ghz, 512mb ddr2, 80gb
hdd, 128mb ati vd card.. running windows xp home sp2.

Tahnks for help.

There are three elements to make a USB flash drive bootable on a system:

** The host system must support booting from a USB flash drive.
(Please check with your system manufacturer.)

** The USB flash drive must support booting in general.
(Please check with your USB flash drive vendor.)

** The USB flash drive must contain boot/system files.
Typically, vendors of USB flash drives that support bootability will
provide you with a tool that will make the drive bootable.
