I can add the message to a scanned attachment but it will not go with message
when sent. It drops the message.
The scanned attachment goes to the defined address, but looses the message.
This has been happening from time to time over the past couple of weeks.
Thanks for any help.

Not sure what you are asking. Your post is not real clear.

Are you using Microsoft Access - the database application?

If not, you are in the wrong newsgroup.

I have never used this for help before so I may be in the "wrong"
newsgroup.
I am just looking for help from Microsoft. I have been using Outlook
for email for years and never had a problem with sending email with a
scaned attachment, and message included.
I want to know what would cause a email with a scaned attachment
to loose the email message when sent.
the message goes to the addressee with the attachment but looses the
message.

It's easy to get to this newsgroup, in error, via the online interface. If
you'll continue to scroll down the list, you'll see some that are
specifically for Q&A about Microsoft Outlook. This one is about Microsoft
Access database software, though the newsgroup name could mislead one to
believe it is "public access to Microsoft."
