How big can access get

at what stage will access slow down, we want to put 60 000 members in it will
it still work well ?

If you mean that one of your table will have 60,000 rows in it then that is
tiny. Don't worry about it. Performance on a database that is properly
designed seldom is affected by its size anyway.

We have an Access 97 database here with 3.6 million Contacts in it. You're
fine. :)
 
I have a table with 700,000 rows and it is running on a Pentium 4 desktop
with great response time
