Right because email uses SMTP and POP. Newsgroups use NNTP protocol.
Namely email uses ports 25 for SMTP and POP uses port 110. Newsgroups use
port 119. So if you forward a newspost it is going to forward on Port 119
not port 25 which is what you would need to do to send an email.
