how 2 get deatils, not t-nails in Crtl Panel opening

I can't seem to be able to get Control Panel (Classic View) to open in anything but Thumbnails. My preference in that is Details.

Any suggestions or tweaks I may have overlooked would be appreciated.

Rightclick a blank area of the thumbnail window /view/details.
Are you saying this is not working?

It works, yes but on opening Control Panel the view is still in thumbnails. I'd tried the same with Windows Explorer and My Docs which are as I like them (detail). Am I gonna have to do a Registry setting to get CPanel to stay in details?
