Hello,
Lately my laptop, which is using Windows XP Pro, won't
allow me to open the Control Panel. When I try to click
on Control Panel, I just get a message stating that
it "cannot create a shortcut here, would I like one to be
placed on the desktop instead?" If I select no, nothing
happens, if I select yes, it places a shortcut on the
desktop, but double-clicking on this shortcut does
nothing. I have also noticed that most of the time, when
I try to open My Computer, it actually opens the search
window instead. Also, when I try using the Window key
with "e" to open windows explorer, I get the message "the
parameter is incorrect". Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance,
Sean
