hurts nothing and saves reloading time if you choose to rerun
the scan found at: http://prerelease.trendmicro-europe.com/hc66/launch/
However, you can safely remove the folder.

Sorry to butt into someelses conversation, but can you advise if there is a
way to uninstall this product. I am unable to update it nor uninstall. Have
tried add/remove but it tells me to update and if I cannot to notify my
administrator,
