every now and then but in the last few months frequently my email hotmail
sends me email from a few months back sometimes up to 7000 emails WHY DOES
IT DO THIS AND HOW DO I STOP IT?

Sound to me like your log-in link is not set up right
When you log into hotmail have a look at the address - ??

This "may" may caused by your OnClick to login
Or
If you are using outlook to get your hotmails - then check that the default
account is set to the one that gets the hotmails - or you will get them all
at once when you login with that account

I would contact Hotmail and ask them to alter it. But - knowing hotmail -
it may be just simpler to create a new hotmail account and use that
